Anderson Gobbi

I help organizations turn AI and enterprise transformation into measured business results — building the strategies, governance, and operating models that executives trust, engineers adopt, and regulators approve. 25 years at Microsoft. Founder of an AI health company with a platform in production. Author of two books. Every outcome below is real and measured.

Who I Am

Thirty years at the point where technology, people, and accountability meet

I started in Brazil, modernizing systems across 200+ bank branches and building Globo.com’s first datacenter at the portal’s 2000 launch, and spent the next 25 years at Microsoft moving steadily from hands-on engineering to enterprise leadership: field engineer and architect for Fortune 500 clients, builder of a $200M+ global services business, and ultimately the leader responsible for compliance, resilience, and AI-powered governance across the 200+ engineering teams that ship Windows every month. The through-line was never a technology; it was a question — how do you make large organizations fast and trustworthy at the same time?

That question connects the seemingly different chapters. Compliance work taught me that governance done well accelerates delivery rather than slowing it. AI work — from early automation and decision-support systems to today's production agents — taught me that intelligence only creates value when people can trust and adopt it. Founding a healthcare AI company taught me what it costs to earn that trust when the stakes are clinical and the capital is my own. Writing and mentoring taught me that durable impact is measured by the capability you leave in other people, not the work you keep for yourself.

Today I lead from that intersection: an executive who has owned the strategy, built the systems, run the organizations, and shipped the AI — now applying all of it to help enterprises make their next transformation real. I work between the U.S. and Brazil, write in two languages, and measure everything I build.

Executive Philosophy

Operating Principles

How I lead organizations, make decisions, and build systems — each principle earned in practice, not adopted from a book.

Measure everything.

If an initiative matters, it has a baseline, a target, and a system of record. Decisions ride on data, not escalation volume.

Governance should accelerate delivery.

Well-designed controls remove ambiguity, rework, and fear. My compliance programs shipped faster with gates than without them.

AI augments judgment; it does not replace it.

Every AI system I have shipped keeps humans accountable where judgment matters — and earns adoption because of it.

Trust is an engineering discipline.

Auditability, traceability, privacy, and honest evidence are designed in, not promised later.

Simplicity beats unnecessary complexity.

Playbooks a team can run beat frameworks a consultant can present. If it cannot be operated, it is not finished.

Adoption is earned, not mandated.

Champions, enablement, and credibility move organizations further than authority ever has.

Leadership leaves durable capability behind.

The structures I build are designed to outlive my involvement — and the best ones have.

Strategy only matters when it becomes operating reality.

A strategy without an operating model, owners, and metrics is a document. I build the rest.

The Short Version

Why Companies Hire Me

AIProductPrograms & ExecutionOperationsGovernance

Most executives go deep in one of these five. My career integrates all of them — not as a generalist skimming each, but as an operator who has owned real outcomes in every one: production AI shipped, products built and scaled, programs governed across 200+ teams, a $200M business operated, and compliance delivered with zero major findings. That integration matters because AI-era transformation fails between these disciplines, not inside them.

What that combination produces — strategies, products, programs, and operating systems that:

Executives trust
Engineers adopt
Regulators approve
Teams can operate
Customers actually use
Organizations measure and scale
Programs & Governance

Enterprise programs, told honestly

Four programs from 25 years at Microsoft, each in the same shape: the problem as it actually was, what I built, and what measurably changed.

Windows Compliance Transformation — "No Compliance, No Ship"

Microsoft · Windows Build & Service Compliance · 200+ engineering teams, 12+ regulatory verticals
Challenge
Every Windows release had to ship secure, private, accessible, and globally compliant across a fleet moving monthly — with regulatory obligations (DORA, NIS2, CRA, RED, UK-CTP) arriving faster than manual processes could absorb.
What I built
The release gate and forking mechanism converting non-compliance into blockers; the S360 KPI system of record (real-time Kusto analytics) executives steered by; and production AI agents — Reg2Req, Regulation Intake, PoliCheck — compressing regulatory drafting from weeks to seconds under Responsible AI governance.
40–60% cycle-time reduction
30–40% manual validation recovered
Zero major audit findings
7–9 hrs → <40 min per readiness review

Secure Future Initiative — Adoption Without Mandate

Microsoft · Security, Resilience & Business Continuity · hundreds of services
Challenge
A company-critical security initiative chronically slipping — not for lack of engineering, but because escalation was fragmented and ownership diffuse across a 9,000-person security organization's remit.
What I built
Redesigned cross-org escalation governance, and built the Security Champs network on a hub-and-spoke model: champions embedded across ~20 Windows services groups reaching hundreds of service owners, with cohort onboarding, rotation structures, and executive reporting.
Outcome
Completion driven past 99%, risk mitigation 25–35% faster, and structures that outlived the program — adoption earned through embedded champions, not central mandate.

Business Continuity at Fleet Scale — Then Automated

Microsoft · Business Continuity Lead · 200+ services, four years
Challenge
Annual continuity and disaster-recovery assessments across hundreds of services: criticality, recovery classification, dependency mapping, DR-plan validation — rigorous, audit-ready, and drowning in manual toil.
What I built
The governance discipline first (inventories current, exercises run, remediation tracked, evidence always audit-ready) — then the BCL Agent, automating the review workload with human-in-the-loop design so trust was built in, not mandated.
Up to 90% of review workload automated
~83% time savings per assessment

Modern Service Management — A $200M Business From Zero

Microsoft · Global Lead, Unified Support & MSM · ~200 consultants worldwide
Challenge
Cloud was rewriting what enterprise service management meant; Microsoft's services portfolio needed a modern practice that didn't exist yet.
What I built
The practice itself: strategy, global offering catalog and reusable IP, the KPI/SLA machinery, go-to-market run jointly with sales for a $4B+ organization — and the team, formally managing and developing 20+ people over six years while ~200 consultants delivered worldwide. Earlier in the same arc: invented the Onboarding Accelerator.
$200M+ practice, year one
$40M+ Onboarding Accelerator year-one revenue
~70% deployment-time reduction
People & Organizations

I build organizations and leaders, not only systems

The programs above ran on people. Building, aligning, and developing them has been the constant discipline underneath every outcome on this page.

Organizations built and led

Formally managed, coached, and developed a 20+ person team for six years — hiring, priorities, performance, succession — while scaling a ~200-consultant global delivery model; today lead a distributed U.S.–Brazil executive and engineering organization as a founder.

Influence without authority

A career-long operating condition: aligning engineering, legal, security, privacy, and product leaders across matrixed organizations — driving a company-critical initiative past 99% completion across hundreds of services, none of whom reported to me.

Leadership capability, multiplied

Built champions networks and communities of practice that turned hundreds of service owners into an aligned delivery force — with cohort onboarding, rotation structures, and development paths that outlived the programs they served.

Mentoring & developing leaders

100+ professionals mentored through Atitude Infinita (Vice President & Board Leader) and individual practice; Visiting Professor in executive development; author of a book on mentorship as a discipline.

Executive translation

Years of CVP-level operating rhythm: converting complex technical reality into decision-ready narratives, and strategic intent into coordinated execution with owners, milestones, and measures.

Leading through ambiguity

Built practices, programs, and companies where no playbook existed — from a $200M business designed on a blank page to a compliance operating model regulators had not yet imagined.

Applied AI — The Build Record

AI with receipts — and a foundation that predates the wave

My AI record did not begin with generative AI. For years before the current wave, I designed automation systems, decision-support workflows, governance mechanisms, knowledge systems, and human-in-the-loop processes for intelligent enterprise operations — the disciplines that determine whether AI creates value or risk. When large language models made new things possible, that foundation converted directly — into the working systems below, each in production or shipped, each with measured outcomes. Client and platform specifics are summarized to respect confidentiality; I am happy to go as deep as you would like in conversation.

Cortex Resolve — Agentic Conversational Platform

In Production
What
Agentic AI platform handling live customer operations for a major Brazilian public utility serving 2.6M+ customers — deployed inside the client's business as their public-facing assistant, not a lab experiment.
Architecture
Multi-step agent orchestration over an LLM backbone; retrieval over operational knowledge; guardrailed action flows; human-escalation design.
My role
Founder & CEO of the company that built it: product direction, client relationship, commercial terms, and outcome accountability.

Windows Compliance Agent Suite

Shipped at Microsoft
What
Production agents (Reg2Req · Regulation Intake · Global Readiness / PoliCheck) that transformed regulatory compliance work across 200+ Windows engineering teams: obligations ingested and translated into sequenced engineering requirements, policy checks automated, drafting compressed from weeks of human authorship to seconds of directed output.
Architecture
LLM + RAG over regulatory and policy corpora; prompt orchestration; human-in-the-loop validation with corporate-legal-validated evidence records; Responsible AI governance throughout.
40–60% program cycle-time reduction
30–40% manual validation effort recovered
7–9 hrs → <40 min per readiness review
Zero major audit findings, shipping monthly

BCL Agent — Continuity Review Automation

Shipped at Microsoft
What
Automated business-continuity review agent replacing manual assessment toil across hundreds of services, with human review retained where judgment matters. Adoption was earned by design — trust built in, not mandated.
Up to 90% of review workload automated
~83% time savings per assessment

WorkMind — Clinical Assessment Platform

Paying Pilot
What
Occupational mental-health assessment platform for regulatory compliance (Brazil NR-1): validated clinical instruments, psychiatrist sign-off authority, consent architecture, and k≥5 anonymity thresholds engineered in (LGPD).
Why it matters
AI-adjacent product where governance is existential — evidence that I build for stakes, not demos. Companion work: co-author of a forthcoming book on AI in mental health (Artmed, 2026), written with the president of the Brazilian Psychiatric Association.

What I Believe

Five convictions, earned

Technology creates value only when people trust it.

AI succeeds when governance accelerates responsible innovation, not when it merely permits it.

The best operating models disappear — they become how the organization naturally works.

Strategy matters only when it becomes measurable execution.

Leadership is measured by the capabilities left behind.

Let's talk

Looking for a leader to build AI strategy, enterprise transformation, trusted operating models, or governance at scale? That is the work I do best — and everything on this page is the evidence.
